Transforming an empty warehouse into a safe, fully equipped training space for young people.

1. The Client Brief

New Meaning Foundation were looking to convert an empty
warehouse into a training workshop and communal space for
young people to learn life skills. This included the creation of a
workshop, kitchen area and disabled toilet.

2. Our Solution

As part of a CSR project, EA-RS assisted in the refurbishment and fit out of this ‘empty shell’ by fitting emergency lighting, upgrading existing lighting, which included the fitting of a new sub distribution and general 230v power and sub circuits.

3. Results

New areas were created and complemented by a new installation of lighting, emergency lighting, disabled toilet and all 230v power requirements for the kitchen, fitness, client brief and constriction areas.
